Help Support Beer Hunter : The Movie
Beloved beer and whiskey journalist, Michael Jackson, inspired thousands of brewers and beer enthusiasts with his books and television series, The Beer Hunter. Without his efforts, we would not enjoy the variety of beers that we have today.
After passing away suddenly in 2007, those close to him felt a documentary should be made about his life and contributions to brewing.
To help with substantial production and distribution costs, we are issuing a challenge to to worldwide craft beer community: raise $50,000 dollars to help with the film. A good portion of that will go towards licensing original Beer Hunter series footage. As a sponsor, your name will appear in the credits of the film and DVD, and you will receive a free download of the movie after its release.
Proceeds from the film and screenings will be donated to Parkinson's research, and the producers hope to establish a non-profit foundation in Michael's memory, dedicated to raising money for Parkinson's research through annual fund-raising events on Michael's birthday.
